- When we work together to raise the standard of living for individuals in our community and around the world, the common good is achieved. For past years, the world has been experiencing environmental degradation mainly caused by globalization. Environmental degradation is the deterioration of the environment as a result of resource depletion, including poor soil, water, and air quality, ecosystem disruption, habitat loss, the extinction of wildlife, and pollution. If we participate and work together we can make the world a better place.
